2. Submission: Tattoo works
- Participants must be professional tattoo artists.
- All submitted works must be the original creation of the participant, and participants must have carefully read the registration declaration. registration statement
3. Competition Categories:
3-1. Tattoo Category: Tattoo works must be independently completed by the participant and presented on a live model.
3-2. Tattoo are divided into Asian traditional, European and American styles, and special styles according to style.
Asian Traditional: New Traditional, Old Traditional, Chinese Style, Japaness Style
Other Style: Black & Grey, Color, Portrait, New School, Old School
Special Style: Geometric Lines, Dotwork Totem, Lettering
3. Size (based on approximately A4 size 20cm x 30cm):
Large Piece: larger than 20cm*30cm
Small Piece: less than or equal to 20cm*30cm
4. Category:
Asian Traditional Large Black & Gray (>20*30)
Asian Traditional Large Color (>20*30)
Asian Traditional Small Black & Gray (< 20*30)
Asian Traditional Small Color (< 20*30)

4. Submission method:
- Tattoo Photos (1–9 close-up shots): Upload 1–9 high-resolution, clear, front-facing photos with a solid background, focusing on the tattooed area. Each photo must be under 10MB.
- Tattoo Video (1 clip): Horizontally shot, clear, front-facing video showing the tattooed area and including the model’s face and tattooed part. Maximum duration 30 seconds.
- Contestant information must not appear in the submitted photos or video.
- All uploaded photos are strictly forbidden to display watermarks, store names, store logos, or other signs and content that can identify the store or tattoo artist information
- Participants are required to provide a personal photo for the promotion of the competition and the award, and the image art photo or life photo with clear facial features is required.
5. Judging Criteria:
The competition adopts a professional judging panel scoring system, which accounts for 100% of the total score.
After the submission deadline, the panel will score the anatomized works on the 25th of the month. Scores and results will be published until the competition concludes.
In adherence to fairness and impartiality, judges will only evaluate the works themselves without knowing the identity of the artists. Judging will be based on multiple criteria, including: composition aesthetics, technical skill, color application, light and shadow, creativity, and originality (with bonus points at judges’ discretion based on originality declaration).
6. Statement of Originality:
If it is reviewed by the organizing committee or reported by others and verified to be true, the work will be disqualified from the competition and the results of the competition, and no refund will be given.
This activity attaches great importance to the original spirit of the creators, and all participants must be honest and respect the intellectual property rights of others.
7. Awards:
There are 9 categories in this competition, and the top three works will be selected for each category.
Winning works will receive a custom-designed exclusive medal, personally conceived by the founder of Master Hiro Hui, symbolizing the highest respect for creative spirit.
The medal is meticulously crafted by internationally renowned designer Zhushi, combining artistic texture with aesthetic ingenuity to showcase ultimate craftsmanship.
In addition, winning works may be featured in the 2025 Tattoo Extreme Yearbook and promoted in a special feature in Tattoo Extreme magazine, giving outstanding creations broader visibility and expanding their artistic impact.

11. Other precautions:
If a participant violates the Competition Rules, the organizing committee reserves the right to disqualify the participant and nullify their results. Entry fees will not be refunded.
11-2. Participants must register within the time frame designated by the committee and strictly follow the requirements for submitting works. If a participant is unable to upload works due to special circumstances, they must contact the committee in advance. Failure to upload within the specified time will result in disqualification, and entry fees will not be refunded.
3. If a participant fails to truthfully declare the originality of their work, and this is confirmed by the committee’s review or by a verified third-party report, their entry will be disqualified, their results nullified, and the decision will be publicly announced on the Tattoo Extreme platform. Entry fees will not be refunded.
4. Participants should respect the rules, the judges, and the results of the competition, if there is any behavior of questioning the judges and questioning the results of the competition, the organizing committee of the competition has the right to cancel the participant’s qualification and competition results, and the participation fee will not be refunded.
5. Entrants shall ensure that the works uploaded by the applicant do not infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of others, including copyrights, portrait rights, name rights, etc. All responsibilities arising from the manuscript or submission shall be borne by the entrants.
6. The entrant promises that the organizer will read the registration statement carefully and has the right to exhibit, research, shoot, video, publicize and publish the entries.
